24th Alabama Sports Festival


	CrossFire Soccer Club Enjoys Success at 24th Annual Alabama Sport Festival in Mobile The CrossFire Soccer Club, still in its inaugural year, recently attended the 24th annual Alabama Sports Festival in Mobile, Alabama. The Festival hosts over 8000 athletes in 22 different Olympic Sports, and is part of the United States Olympic State Games. The local club participated in four different divisions: U14 boys, U14 girls, U12 boys, and U12 girls. After 13 grueling matches, the teams brought home three silver medals, having competed against the top teams in the state. The U14 boys finished fifth in their division, and consisted of the following players: Robert Brown, Cody Brown, Chazz Calvert, Andrew Cooper, Adam Davis, Evan Harris, Alan Harrison, Michael Harrison, Anthony Hayes, Josh Hunt, Daniel Love, Kyle Pate, Daniel Robinson, Dawson Shell, Noah Shell, Chris Tate, and Andrew Willis. The U12 boys finished second in their division, and consisted of the following players: Cody Clements, Jesse Compton, Lucas Green, Michael Ham, Austin Hamilton, Cody Hanson, Austin Phelps, Mark Reaves, Cody Rees, Adam Smith, Garrett Stephenson, Will Stephenson, and Jason Willard. The girls participated in two different divisions, U12 and U14, and finished second in both divisions, with the following players: Carly Bedsoe, Jennifer Black, Stephanie Brand, Mindy Edwards, Meygan Galvez, Samantha Hayes, Breanna Haymon, Breanna Hollaway, Marissa Moore, Taylor Parsons, Allison Pendergrass, Autumn Redford, Allison Smith, Mary Logan Stull, Erin Whitlow.
