	CrossFire Soccer Club Golf Tournament a Success The Arab CrossFire Soccer Club would like to thank everyone that participated and helped with the golf tournament July 22 at Twin Lakes. It was a huge success even with the rain and lightning. The winners were: 1st place ($200)-Sam McGee, Jack Beauford, David Bradford & Jason Parker; 2nd place ($100)-Jack Whisenant, Vince Madden, Keith Weatherford & James aka “Tricky;” 3rd place (golf caddy, golf balls & accessories pack each)-Gary Green, Gary Taylor, Johnny Downs & Neil Green; Longest Drive (Oakley Sunglasses & set of 15 golf balls)-Jason Parker; Closest to the Pin (Oakley Sunglasses & set of 15 golf balls)-Chris McBride. Winners of several door prizes-Neil Green, Gary Green, Jarrod Jackson, Michael Oliver, David Bradford & Vince Madden. Thank to our sponsors-Eye Care Associates, Jones Discount Pharmacy, DDS Family Dentistry, Lake Guntersville Real Estate, CIMSgts, Discount Building Supply Co., Arab Cartage & Express Co., Alexander Scofield Ford and Barry & Susan Willis. We would also like to thank coaches, parents and players for your time and effort, as well as the Arab Tribune and Arab Today for advertising our tournament; and Twin Lakes for allowing us to hold it at their facility. The proceeds will go to the travel teams for equipment, uniforms and administrative costs.
